Highly efficient 2.5kw+ amp?

20.1 , Z1, MMATS 3000.05, or thor would be my suggestions
The 20.1 isn't high up on my list, needs

I looked on MMATS' website, I'm seeing a 3500.1 (new model I guess) so I'm trying to get a quote from them.

I'm also looking into an Exile X2400.1, sent an email for a quote. Although I saw a bad review on the forums, one user reported only getting ~1900 before hard clipping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif. I'm also looking into the 1200.1s to strap em at 2 ohm. This would give me the same output, but at a lesser current draw correct? Any downside I need to know about strapping amps besides the obvious (takes up more space, etc.). Can the X2400.1 be run at .5 daily though? I saw that one guy was able to burp at 18v.

I find it hard to believe that a 2.5kw amp can put out rated power on 90 amps of fuse. I can't find any reviews on em either. Those have got to be some pretty **** efficient mofos.

Im not sure why his amp is reading so low, maybe something blew, but ive never had any problems with mine. Anyways ide rather just do 1 big amp rather than 2 smaller ones. I dnt think the current draw would be much different with 2 1200.1s vs 1 2400.1

mmats amps are great amps..and yes u can do the 3500.1 they are great amps..we did a 161.0 outlaw at world finals last year with 6 of the 3000.05s on 3 15" dd 9515s

I'm leaning towards the zx2500.1 right now, but the Orion can be had for cheaper.

Quick question though, how much less current would the zx2500.1 draw vs the Orion 2500D. Both doing 2500, but at 2ohm and 1ohm respectively?

Taking a quick look at the Termpro classifieds, what aboutthe Visonik V4000XD? 3000 @ 4 ohms not too shabby.
