Highly efficient 2.5kw+ amp?

I'm looking to push 2 Audioque HD312's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. I've looked at the Orion 2500D and IA 20.1 as well as the Hifonics XX series. Looking to run at either .5 or 1 ohm. Just want to see what other options are out there.

I could get you an Elevation Audio 1500.1...rated at 1800w into 1 ohm...get two and you could strap them...

Look into the Digital Designs Z1 amplifier. For 12V it is extremely efficient and is made for 1ohm mono use at an underrated 3kwrms @ 12V all day long and is strappable with another Z1 for a 2ohm load. The coolest thing about them, other than the incredible power is the clipping indicator L.E.D. in the remote gain control. With that simple indicator, you can now actually tell when the amplifier is starting to weld your speakers' reciprocating internals. You can ask D.J. at AudioQue about the amp also.

I've heard good things about the Z1, but it's probably out of my price range. I should have mentioned I'm looking to spend maybe ~$500-600.

I've never heard of Elevation Audio. There website is pretty basic, so I guess they're new. I sent em an email for a quote.

The kicker ZX2500.1 is really fvcking nice though. If only I could find one for cheap. Can it do .5?

Oh BTW, are Cadence amps strapable? They're pretty cheap so I thought I'd ask.

I wouldn't do .5ohms on it...

Mine had a birthsheet of ~2700rms @2ohms and has been running @1ohm daily for about a month...

good amp i run a pair now.

but if he wants to go something a little cheaper then the mmats d3000.1 is super efficient. and when i tested it versus an orion 2500d one test at .7 it was .4 louder tehn the orion and at .35 the mmats was .7 louder then the orion
