high pass filter

What should I set my high pass filter on my amp to? Like what do most of you set it to? I'm tired of my 4x6s constantly making a farting noise whenever the bass hits, so i assume that this would solve my problem.

This is my temporary solution b/c I hope to get a signal processor soon. Any recommendations?

Jmacs suggestion was good. But I would suspect it will end up around 100-125hz or so, +/-.
