ok am i correct?, all i need to do to make sure that my alternator puts out at idle is to change the pully? make it smaller?
Nah, of course it depends on how "small" of a pulley you'll buy, but almost anything you find to increase output 15-20% will be absolutely fine. You just want to make sure that if you have a smaller pulley, you aren't pushing your RPM's constantly very high, say above 6K.i heard that you change it to a smaller pulley..but that makes the alt die faster..
