3 sub setup??

is there anyway i can lower the ohms on a 3 sub set up with all subs havin dual 4ohm coils? all diagrams i saw wired them to 8ohms then put in a series into 2.6 ohms. can i wire them to 2 ohms and series them into like .6 ohms? just guessin on numbers here.
