Have u checked ur belt to make sure its tight?

im going to have to check that but i know it is tight enough not to make that big of a difference

maybe your weak battery killed it.

i aint saying your wrong but i have never heard of a battery killing a alternator but i dont know i might be rong

i had a alt shop rebuilt my stock bosch 136amp alt for 105 bucks with a year warranty..it puts out 180 amps now

go read he install info on a stock alternator, if the battery isnt fully charged it will kill the alt almost immediately, bad batteries make alts fail more than anything else. db electrical has always done good for me and my 100's of customers that have bought them. never more than 5-10% from specs. and usually do at least 100+ amps at idle...

130 for new tells me someone new it was bad when they sold it to you...they are almost 300

130 for a new alternator is too cheap IMO, that shouldve been a sign there. Just get it rebuilt if it don't cost much. But they come with a year warrenty.
