High current fuses

resistance causes it to get hot, how many amps are you drawing? generally in my experience the ground doesnt get even warm unless there is an issue ( bad ground ect ), the way dc works the voltage starts at the ground and travels to the positive. if they are dif sizes of wire the ground can and usually will get hot due to the resistance, that is why is is important to keep them the same size and also make the ground as short as possible. as well if you have extremely large current draw you should ground the rear battery directly to the front.if both wires get hot the wire isnt even close to big enough.
Well to be honest not much cuz my audiopipe uses an external in line anl 100 amp wafer fuse, so not much, I was just curious.

on such low current draw the only time I have personally seen it happen is after long ( very long ) play time which seems normal as long as it isnt actually hot, ( warm is normal IMO ) or there is excess current resistance somewhere. bad ground bad connection somewhere ect....

for 100 amps 4 guage is more than enough and 1/0 is overkill IMO but you can never have big enough wire. if you have enough extra 1/0 try using that and see if it still does it.

i run 4 guage to 2 1000 watt mid amps that split into to 6 guage ins on the amps. and a single 2 guage to my 2kw sub amp and i have no issues at all with wire heat.

wow, I was going to start correcting your bad info but theres too much to bother with. Just stop posting about electrical theory because you are clueless.

McIntosh is at least stating correct info (although I think he enjoys grinding peoples gears //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ) But SicAudio you are just making things up as you go. Do yourself a favor and read a few textbooks on basic electronics.

i havent said jack shit about your family so keep mine out of it or you will deal with me directly *******. i will destroy you, never ever talk about my wonderful and most forgiving and patient wife unless you have a wish to cease existing in this life.you can say what you want to me as I am the one talking to you, when you bring indirect people into it you change the game entirely and that I will not take or sit upon ever, when you think you can handle it i can arrange the meet until then speak of her again and i will most definately end your days boy.
You brought the deaf and dumb into the conversation, not me. You were so proud if it's opinion you had to post it. She may well know more about electricity than you (which certainly isn't saying much).
