they do more than rated but they are competition grade amps I do not recommend using it for daily. altho alot of people have.

Just curious why not use for daily jw the outcome of doing that i guess im unfamiliar it would be going on my 18 inch DC lvl 5 learning as i go..

i use the xx-cyclops (xx ad xxv series are similiar, xxv's take up to 18v iirc). my cyclops does daily very well and seems to do rated power. im not sure what kind of rms i'm getting after imp rise on music but its loud as **** and i love it. as long as you're not abusing the colossus under 12v i dont see it giving you issues.

most importantly you need to make sure you have the electical to do what you want that xxv to do.

I'm buying it from my friend.. He got it in a trade and is looking to run .5 to 1 ohm so he is selling it to me for 150 Cheap i say so and its 100% mechanical sound too..

feed it as much power as you possibly can and daily use is fine...

most people forget the huge power need it has tho which is why i warned about daily use

I know a ton of people that use em daily but they have monster electrical setups to go with it too...

its fine. I have ran d9s on crap electrical and never had a problem.. the xxv is not that big of an amp.. ya your headlights will probly dim without upgradded electrical but i mean even if you have it at 1 ohm after rise honestly its not that powerful. anyone have clamped ratings on it?

last I heard results from clamping is that it does rated.

Buy the amp, then flip it for more money

I just wanna cheap amp for now so at least i HAVE a amp.. and 150 for sure some tard traded it to my buddy for a blown (which he knew about) soundstream amp to send in for warranty. so my buddy is gonna sell er cheap to me
