Hifonics XX-Herc. What electrical mods do i need?

If everything goes as planned, I'll be running a Hifonics XX-Hercules (birthsheet around 2500wrms i am told), along with some 4 channel amp pushing speakers, probably around 75wrms x 4.

This is wwwayy more power then i currently have running in my SUV. I have a little Alpine MRP-M350 right now (350wrms) pushing a 12" type-e, and i notice if my SUV is at idle and volume is fully cranked, i get a slight flickering in the light. Not much, but just noticeable if your looking for it.

My question is. What kind of electrical modifications will i need? I was planning on doing the whole Big3 thing and getting a nicer battery. Should i plan on getting a second battery? Capacitor? HO alt? Any reccomendations/info would be great....

I would say big three/battery up front. Then battery in back. Then alt if needed. That might not be the right way but if i could do it over thats what i would have done. Instead i did alt from EA so far a big mistake. basically has done nothing. Then big three now battery up front and battery in back.

cool thanks. I was thinking to do that setup. Was gonna be bummed if i absolutely had to drop another couple hundred bucks on a new alt to run the stuff hehe.

You might need too...If it cant charge both of those batteries effectivly. I could be wrong about all this. Soo. yeah Thats just what i personally would do.

200-240 amp alt and a g 31 sized battery like a kinetik 2400

What does a decent alternator run anyways? around $300 for a decent one isnt it?

all stock dodge electrical system..runnin my 2000d off it, no light dim, flickering, nothing. maybe the upgrade to the tow package had something to do with that? (bigger battery, alt. and whatnot) i think the tow package alt was..160?
