Hifonics - The Truth

hmm. Interesting. That does make sense....BUT It is still hard for me to believe that ANYONE would expect to get 1600W out of ANY amp with a 60A inline fuse. I don't care how much voltage you are running, it is still going to need more amperage to output that much wattage.

i thinks its 3db...not sure
In a perfect world it's 3db but you'll never see that gain. The Brutus as well as the 1700D are wired at .5 before rise. The 60A AGU fuse lasted well over a year wired like this. Before my volume hit 75% of my max (38/50) it popped with the 1700D. I'm now running a MIDI 100A ANL at the moment and if I set the amp where it should be the fuse pops instantly. I'm running everything very lean to keep the fuse functional.

Isnt the rule of thumb that on average, it takes a 200% increase in power or cone area to go up 1 db. If that is the case, i doubt you are up a db unless the soundstream is under-rated. I like you will explore the possibility of the Hifonics being over rated but not the sound stream being under rated. I like Hifonics either way.
i think its 3db if you double cone area/power and 10db is twice as loud ex 130->140db

how the fuvk is your fuse midi and anl....

man up spend 15$ on a soundquest anl fuse holder and put a 150 amp fuse in there

There was a thread awhile ago where I bashed the shit out of Maxxxonics and every nut hugging feggot came out of their corner. This cracks me up. Id love to find the thread and link there.

The amp itself runs on 160 amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

JACKASS. The amp is running on 2 80 amp fuses so the amp runs on 160 amps of total fusing. If you knew how to fucking read or comprehend, you wouldnt try to make something out of nothing.
Dude, you get smoked in every thread you post in. Stating my amp runs on 160a is incorrect. It's fused at 160a to keep it from blowing. If it had a 160a draw as you stated, I'd be up a shit creek.

Also, fuck you and your reading and comprehension skills. You don't even have a GED yet.
