i wrote a review on my bxi1606d and still works just like new today. i have owned the bx500d, bx1000d, bx1500d, and now the bxi1606d. i have had great expirence* with hifonics brutus amps.

you need two Dual2ohm subs so you can wire them in parallel, which will result in a .5ohm nominal load

I've had a pair of TX1505Ds for over a year now. They don't quite do 1500, its more like 1300 or a bit more, but for less than $180 each brand new, they are very reliable and do the job. No problems with mine yet.

wire another dual 2ohm sub in parralel with the other 2. not sure on the amp though. i myself would not run it lower than 1 ohm.

I have 4 Hifonics XI final edition Atlas's, a Hifonics XI final edition olympus, and Hifonics XI final edition Zues. I haven't had any prob's and that dates back to my experience with VIII series. I've owned nothing but Hifonics because they are rock solid amplifiers if you don't drive them into too low of a load.

they are rock solid amplifiers if you don't drive them into too low of a load.

or too low of a battery voltage LOL, that's how I fried my genXX colossus. but big amps are more sensitive than smaller ones...

I have the Bxi 1606D amp. Great so far, but only had it like three months. Powers two Kicker compVR 12s well, but I had to raise the gain higher on this amp than my last amp, which was a alpine. The blue lights look good at night.
