i recently got a old hifonics olympus XI for a greatttttt deal and right now i have a set of alpine type r coaxial 6.5"s running on it. they are wired at 4 channel @ 4ohms so its not to its max. i was wondering because i have a tahoe and i want to run a pair of 5 1/4s up on my a pillars. they are gonna be components and ill be building the pods for them on the pillars. but with the amp i know ill have enough power. i was thinking i could either bridge the amp for 2 channels and have 3 on the left side and 3 on the right? or i was thinking i could do the 2 type Rs on the right on one channel and vise versa with the left. and run the components up front on seperate left and right left over also? will it sound funny. and gain wise would the fronts be louder. im not totally sure.

would the best way to run it be

ch 1&2 are the focal 5.25s in the pillars having ch1 being left and ch2 being right

then

ch3&4 are my type r coaxials in the doors ch3 being the left side with 2 type rs on that channel and ch4 being the right side with 2 speakers as well.

this gives me the ability to adjust the gain on the amp to coincide with the sensitivity of the alpines vs. the focals.
