Actually, I think I may have reached quite a limitation. I found out today that my ECU rejects any alternator that has a higher output than the OEM. I may end up getting a new vehicle because there is no way that simply adding batteries is going to make up for a lack of charging ability. I have 2 Odyssey PC 1700's though, so I can do burps without problems, its just when I try to beat the block is when I'll run into trouble.Just curious about ur electric setup, how's that going?
getting a new car because you have a few problems doesn't seem worth it imo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gifActually, I think I may have reached quite a limitation. Please enlighten me on this external regulator you speak of. I didn't say I was having trouble yet, but building a daily street beater just concerns me. Do you think I will be ok with the 2 1700's and a stock alt??get external regulator.
If you are having trouble with two 1700's you mine as well just return to stock stereo system and call it quits.
I'm not sure if you are familiar with Mazda Protege' s, but they are not very friendly when it comes to things such as this:crap: . If someone could show me a protege that was already built in this manner then I would try it. The alternator is located at the base of the engine next to the front passenger wheel (can we say a total ***** to get to?).just add a second alt that powers the system batteries
So u can have more then 1 alt as long as they are rated as the OEM one?I'm not sure if you are familiar with Mazda Protege' s, but they are not very friendly when it comes to things such as this:crap: .
