but you can trim the 2 to fit

would 4 gauge be enough to power that amp while it gives 1600 watts @ 1 ohm to a Fi BL?

why not use a 1/0 and then use a distro block close to the amp and output 4guage from it

according to the box it accepts 2gauge.

but why bother, 4 is cheaper and 0 is bigger for not much more.

i have that amp, hooked up with two jl W3V3-4, and when i turn the volume up, the amp autoprotects.... i have 4 gauge wire from the battery to the back of my seat, (singlecab truck) there is a disto block that send 4 gauge to the 1606D and to the BXi6400(4 channel amp)... do you think thats my problem why my amp goes in autoprotection?

if you read the manual, only the 2006d accepts 2 gauge. what you could do the, and this is which i did, was run 1/0 all the way back, and use a gauge reducer for both power and ground. works perfectly
