Is this a good amp? I'm thinking of buying one. I heard that it's not clean. What do y'all think?

the 1606d is better, but i would say try something else like the optidrive

wwhat do u mean not clean? It's only good if ur geting it for a good deal. They put less power than they are rated tho. I got mine Brand new for $215 shipped off some website that had a sale going. But I wouldn't buy it for more than $250.

probably 750-825ish, says 900 tho. Someone had a test on it and it did 1,300 or something around that area at 1 ohm, so I'm just basing off those numbers.

Is 140 shipped good for it? Do they last long?

Mine lasted a while, but I fuaxed it up (not unplugging negative wire when working on car FTW). It gave me a good 6 months running it at 2ohms. It got a little hot but I run it constantly and at high levels. I say 140 shipped is a great deal used or new as long as ur positive it works.

But the BXi1606 is hard to be had for under $250. For $140 shipped the BX1500 is a great deal.

watch out for scammers and like I said, make sure it works. Or else ur gonna end up spending $140 getting a paperweight and spending another $100+ to fix it.
