Ive noticed they have the bxi 2407, then they advertise the 2407D, Then they have the HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608D . whats the diffence between these all please as was thinking of upgrading to the HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608D

Ok thanx. My 1606 plays sweet on 2 pioneer premier 12'2, doesnt even get warm, runs cold so I think Ill give the 2608 a try

prove that they do, I wont say that they do or dont do rated power but I will say that they are built like ****in brick houses, I ran a brutus (actually 3) at .6 ohms daily beating the hell outta(at least 45 outta 60 on the volume with bass boost and whatnot) it in 90 degree weather for 7 months average before they blew. Then when I got a bx2005d and actually ran it at 1 ohm it ran for 3 years taking the same beating without ever going into protect, getting hot or anything.

So who cares if its underrated by 200 watts (so to say) when its still the best thing your gonna get without spending $700, compared to spending 350. Thats one helluva deal to me.

Dont get me wrong, I thought they were peices of shit when they kept blowing on me like clock work, but when I found out it was the dumbass's at the shop that wired up my subs at .6 I was actually impressed they lasted that long the way I treated them.

Bottom line, if I ever need a budget amp or im doing a non-serious system Hifonics will be getting my money before anyone else

most people say hifonics are overrated. Ask for proof. They cant prove it.
The 2kwatts Brutus has a max rated current draw of 169a. Unless its about 125% efficient its not making 2kwatts. Realistically you'll see 1600 & change.

and to the guy who said they were built like brick sh!thouses... you say they are awesome and ran @ .6 for like 7 months until they blew... well they cant be all the brick or sh!t or a house if they blow.

What?

Where did you get that info from?

The Brutus does not have max rated anything and the recommended fuse rating is 200 amps!
