hey guys, i have 2 Rockford 10" HE's and i found this box for sale on ebay for $36. I think this sounds like a great price for a dual 10" enclosure. So my question is, is this a good box? if it is, it is good for my subs? and does that sound like a good price to you. Thanks LuRp

It's made form 5/8" MDF

This box has external dimensions of 13.5"H x 13.5"D x 30.32"W , and an internal volume of 1.05 cu. ft. per side, which is perfect for two 10-inch woofers optimized for larger enclosures

DEADEN THE INSIDE WITH DYNAMAT OR CASCADE 5/8" IS A LITTLE THIN MAYBE RESIN THE INSIDE AND DYNAMAT IT AT THAT PRICE ITS GOOD BUT SHIPPIN GONNA KILL U

$20 shipping... sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Ok thanks. Thats what i was worried about...

in general shipping for a box costs more.........but if its only 20 and it fits your car why not get it? but i will also say this...at local shops here they sell boxes that are about the same as that but are not a name brand (r/t, q-logic being name brands) for 50........if you find it local might cost less.

ok thanks alot for the input. Is there really that much of a diff between 5/8" and 3/4" in terms of sound? b/c what im looking for is a hard hitting very clear and crisp bass.. Thanks again

LuRp

welp this is how i can best put it... the "deader" the box the better and if for 30 bucks you can improve your system.....id do it my firebird had 2 1" layers in each wall with roadkill (stinger dynamat lol ) sandwiched in between... box was dead as hell
