So I have 4 gauge OFC run right now. Because I was running a Kicker Key 500.1 and 180.4. Maximum of 80 amps.

Now I am switching to the Stinger MT1000.1 and Audio Control ACM 4.300. So a total of 130 amps.

I know the wire charts show 1200 watts on 4 gauge 13-16ft runs.

Should I change out the wire to 2 gauge welding wire? Or trust the chart?

I think you will be just fine to be honest. Id run it and check it after hammering on it quite a bit and check the temp on the wire by hand to see if it has gotten pretty warm or not. If it gets warm, Id replace it, but 4 ga OFC should be able to handle around 150amps
