i have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee with the factoy infinity gold system, well it was in there but i replaced it, right now i have 4 jl audio 10w6 and for the highs in the front i have pioneer 5 1/2 4 ways, and in the rear doors i have boston s 65s i think the 5 1/2s which might be 60s i dunno, for amps i have ppi, for the highs i have a 1000x4 and for the subs i have a 1500x1 i love the sub setup but the voice is slackin big time. i want something that will sound nice and really go over what the subs produce i want voice for lets say a block, and subs for half a block u know what im trying to get at. any way in the front doors i can house 6x9s, i was thinking pioneer 5 ways, and in the rears i can go up to 6 3/4 i also have tweeter locations on the dash but i dunno if i was to go with comp i tried the boston pro series comp and didnt like them, but i think my installer blew my xover by accident and didnt wanna fess up to it, let me know what you guys think id greatly appreciate it, thanks, sorry its so long-of-a post

Let me think. Hmm. You may want to put some sound deadener in the doors. At least about three layers. Double up to at least five on the back. I'm not sure about this 1000x4 amplifier you have... but you may want to pull that back a bit to say 400-500 X4. Add a set of sealed kick panels to the front with some dedicated midbass drivers (60-120hz range) to bring out the warmth of the low end. The deadener should take care of the the low vocal levels. The only problem you may want to be concerned with, you won't be booming a block away... which is really a good thing but you don't realize it yet.

alright man thanks, i was thinking of going fiberglass in my trunk arear and on my amp rack having 4 6x9s for voice, i do have the amp tuned way down, so i was planning my next setup of a pair of pioneer 5 ways in the front doors, the 4 ways in the rear, and 4 5ways in the rear deck that ill be glassing along with the amp rack and new speaker enclosure, so i should go mids in the front will it be worth it cause the subs really do produce good sound i have tweeter loc, in the front dash should i put tweeters back in there?

Just remember... #-Way speakers are not the end all. You should check around at the component setups to find an ultimate medium. More often than not you will find a component set will have a much cleaner response than what you find in coax speakers. Also, I honestly don't think that more speakers is going to be the solution, instead you should probably remove and isolate your sound stage or improve the staging you have.
