Thought I'd sign up - been lurkin here for awhile and never got around to registering.

I just bought a Nissan Maxima today and I have system stuff waitin to go in.

Sub - Ascendant Audio Avalanche 15"

Sub amp - Directed 1100D

HU - Clarion forget name, its a high end model

Speaker amp - Orion Xtreme 500.4 (gonna be bridged @ 125w rms)

I'm gonna order some CDT components (CL-61's) and an amp kit from Knukonceptz. And some cheap sound deadener.

I'll post pics when the car comes in on Tuesday - it's a 99 with no power seats - that means amps are goin under the front seats and I'll HAVE a trunk!

Nice choice of car...big trunks also, im looking into them also. As for your setup, that will wang in that maxima!

It's a decet sized car, but I like that the center console in the back flips down. I hear cars that don't air out the trunk have bass problems. I've heard of people cutting out their rear speakers in order to port their trunk (I wanted a caddy but besides their electronic crap, I didn't want to deal with that).

It's a '99. Cloth seats and no sunroof. It's auto too. It's blueish green - teal I think. But hey, this stats I hear are 10% are stick, 20% have leather and sunroof. So the math is like 2% of all Maxima's are the ones everyone wants.

What is yours equipped with?

Those VE's and VQ's are immortal. Some of the more reliable Nissans.

^^^tis quite true it is still running like the day i got it.
