I want to get a 2004 alpine 12 inch type r, which would be better to power it, the alpine 301 or the 501. I'm leaning towards the 301 because its 100 dollars cheaper and i woudlnt' worry about overpowering it, but im also worried its not goin get enough bass. So what do you guys think? ALso, do you guys know where i can purchase a ported box for the 12 inch type r, i saw one on crutchfield but i didn't know if it would fit.

501 if you are set on alpine. There are others out there that I would rather get, but that is just me. Alpine is awesome, just a little costly in my opinion.

find someone on the forum who will build one for you. don't get prefab.
