Okay, so I have a ram 1500 quad cab 2008. I'm currently running a jl 12" w7. I don't wanna hear no hating lol first time posting. I have a few questions, I was thinking of running 2 12" dc xls in my truck. How can I make this work? If I told up my seat should it fit I don't thin the box needs to be any bigger than the HIGH OUTPUT box I'm using now! Please help guys. Jus need ideas. Don't wanna spend to much money. But I wanna maximize performance. I want this to be loud!! (; I'm thinking of using the 5k will I need batteries? Caps?

No caps, need 3 good batts, and a high output alt if you dont have one now. also dc like small boxes im told so maybe 3.5 cu - 4.0 if possible and the box you have now, if its a pre-fab wont work.

Okay thanks guys that wil help me out. Is it worth the change? I want louder so that's why I wanna switch. Also do you guys have dcs? How loud are they? Reliable?
