I have 2 viper 12" dual 4 ohm voice coils set to parallel with a xplod 1000 watt amp. I have pioneer speakers all around. and recently my speakers (not subs) have started distorting.... now in the morning (on my way to school) they sound fine. but when Later on like leaving school. All my speaker start distorting.... It bugggs the frickin crap out of me. I have a strong Battery and the best wire there are. what the heck is it doing????????????

two biggest reasons your components would distort is because of a problem with the head unit like settings, damage, loose wires etc. the other reason is their underpowered. hook the speakers up to something else that works good and see if they distort if they do their bad if not i would start by unhooking the speakers from your radios wiring harness one by one if they sound better after a certian one gets unhooked it means the wire is shorting out somewhere. pull it out and run another one and you should be good to go. if this doesnt work give me some more info and ill see what i can do
