Help!

Okay this is what I have. I have 1 12" kicker cvr and a alpine mono amp. I'm running 8 gauge wire. I've decided to get an amp for my door speakers but don't know where to start? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for any help!

I am getting some infinity ones in a few weeks. But I noticed a problem today. I always hear a rattling noise from my back rear door speaker so I took the panel off and it was a white film cover that was rattling when the base hit. Idk what to do about this. I guess it's a protector film for moisture or something?

Forget about replacing your stock speakers with coaxials, because it would be best to purchase component speakers for your front doors. That would allow you to eliminate the rattling in your rear door altogether, because you won't need speakers back there at all.

We need to know a few things before we can go any further;

1. What kind of vehicle to you drive?

2. What type of music do you listen to?

3. What is your budget?

4. Is there a particular brand of speaker or amplifier that you're set on?

5. Have you thought of installing any kind of sound deadener in your vehicle?

its a 98 ford f150 extended cab,mostly rap some country, my budget is under 200 for all 4. and any amp and speakers that are loud and wont bust, and sound deadner no. how much does that run me? And do you know anything about that film i was talking about?

Look in the classifieds for a used amp man...don't pay retail unless you feel like you need a warranty.

you have to decide on things then go shopping. in order to buy the proper amp you have to know what speakers you will be using. if you pick out some speakers that are rated at 50 watts there is no point in getting a 100 watt per channel amplifier.

Adding some sound deadener to the mix would give you better results, so you might want to look into that too.

That white film you refer to is more than likely a vapor barrier or a half a$$ed excuse for sound deadening. Almost every vehicle has something like that. Some are better than others...

So can I take the film off? Will it change the sound at all? Where does the deadner go?
