Tampa Florida, looking for someone to troubleshoot my system ive been to 2 car stereo shops locally wont mention any names but 1 of them is supposedly the best in town, what a waste of time, my system still doesnt work, when i turn up the volume it cuts out tech told me bad rca so he jumped it or something still cuts out, bad rca i cant see how, i just spet big money on vampire rcas all arround to avoid this my system consists of helix 4channel, orion HCCA red basket components old school, orion red amp for bass powering 2 DLS 8" subs box built to specs, pioneer headunit, vehicle is a 96 850t5 wagon, anyone competent enough to look at it would be a blessing, cash in hand, please HELP.

I HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM!!! only thing is after years of diagnosis and several shops later... still never found out what caused it. Didn't happen all the time though...some times i'd be able to blast it for an hour and no problems, other times i'd turn it up, and it would cut out right away.

What cuts out? your highs or your lows or everything? How is your electrical?

my freind has this happen sometimes. the sub will stop hittin at higher volumes at some times/songs, and sometimes its fine...have no idea what it is though
