got an amp last nite and is wondering how many wats it can push out all together it is a rockford fosgate punch 7006 and it says 175x2 watts rms continuous power into 4 ohms with less than 1% th+n from 20-20 khz

350x2 watt rms rms continuous power into 2 ohms with less than 1% th+n from 20-20 khz how many watts does this pull out

no i got the amp from my friend and just want to know by a estimate on how much the amp pulls out but also there is a metal piece on the amp that is burned is it still good

Punch is a decent amp and should put out around 600-700 watts. You could clamp it but these numbers really have no meaning because your not playing a constant note with music.Just go by the RMS numbers on the amp and say it does that!

If you want real numbers by all means you can get them with a DMM and a little work. But just to say my amp does xxxxwatts it isn't worth it.That is why they say 350x2.Maybe try looking it up someone else might have done the work for you already.
