Help with amp

Hello all... i am getting a set of pioneer revs coaxials (60 rms) for the front ( no rearfill) and a sub pushing 5-600 watts... can i buy one amp to power both? i need a four channel amp im guessing but any suggestions?

Example. if i use a cadence 6004

150 x 4 @ 4 Ohm

300 x 4 @ 2 Ohm

600 x 2 @ 4 Ohm

What kind of sub are you getting? That will kind of tell you if you can do it or not. DEpending on the voice coil configuration. But yes it can be done (running speakers and subs off one amp)

i was gonna get a phoenix gold rsd ( im on a budget...college+ marriage = ouch) i see the dvc's everywhere im sure i can find a svc if need be

it can be done. Bridge 2 channels and use the other 2 channels normally. Many 4 channel amps are capable of this. have you actually decided on the cadence 6004?

No i have not decided yet but am very close to if i know that i won't be sending too much wattage to the pioneer revs ( 60 watt rms) and enough to power the sub ( phoenix gold rsd, 500 rms)

do you recommend an amp or have something else in mind Devillain?

Maybe you could find an orion amp. Like an 8004. WHats your budget?

Look at rockford, Hifonics, the older orion amps. Thats just where I would start. With the 8004 at the top of the list.
