for plexi or lexan. a guy i work with wants a ported box made entirely out of plexi. i spouted off and kinda commited myself to doing this for him. the design i can come up with easy enough (2 JLw7's) by searching. how in the hell am i going to glue this thing together and brace it without making it fugly? 3/4 plexi is easy enough to find, and they will cut the peices to what i need. cutting to mount the subs will be a task as well. i don't know of a router bit that will do 3/4 inch plexi. i think my mouth commited me to something that i may not be able to do.

ha good luck you just took on a tuff box

to make the box you have to chemically bond the plexi together, and as for braceing the best thing you could do is get plexy rods and run them in the box

i've worked with pvc, and i would assume that glue for plexi would be similar. i could probably drill holes and insert plexi rods similar to dowel pins to help hold it together.
