Help!!!

hey guys, i recently took out my tape deck in my golf mark 3 - had a sony one that looks like it was there always in the car from new, but i took it out and tried to put my pioneer head unit in and it won't work, i changed the fuse so it was the same as the old one, but it still aint working, thing is i've had this unit working in my old car which has just been sold, always worked no problems, so i know the unit isn't faulty and the original wiring is factory fitted - any ideas??

hey again, i also didn't mention, the antenna adaptor for my golf doesn't fit into my cd player, so i've not plugged it in, does this actually give power, if so is that why it doesn't work?

Nah the antenna wont give power but if the unit was working it has to be somehting in the wiring or a fuse.

right ok, cheers, will have a look at it, change the fuse again, would the wiring setup be different for the two cars (the other car was a nissan micra H Reg - my golf has 6 speakers but my cd player is only capable of 4 speakers, would that cause problems?
