If you would have wrote your initial post in a way to which it was easily understood, I could have answered you right the first time.

To answer your question:

It doesn't matter which side of the car you run RCA's, power, speaker wire, ect on. All that matters is that you get it to your amp, and that you know which wire is which when you hook it up.

well i don't want all my wires expozed since it might get jacked ya know what i'm sayin, plus does my gruond need to be to metal or rusted metal with a screw?

waiting for the rca/power cable thing to come up in this thread. Its not true. It can happen but it doesnt always happen. Mine are running right beside each other and sound perfect no engine noise at all. Half the time is has to do with headunit and grounding issues
hmm that is interesting, i paid 200 bucks for this head unit and i better not get that noise crap or i'll be mad:furious:

You can hide your wires under carpet, under panels, ect to hide them. You can run the wire wherever is most convienent for you.

As far as ground, it's easist to have a short piece of wire (less then 5 feet), and secure it to a bolt that is bolted to an all metal piece of the chasis, that has the paint sanded off.

That is a common myth that is actually not true. You can run it on either side without noise.
Strange.. Because this actually happened to me and 1 one of my friends.. Maybe just cheap rca cables but when we stripped them out and ran um on the other side it sounded fine..

Yes cheap RCA's could be it. I'm not saying it CAN'T happen, i'm just saying it's not going to happen most of the time. Noise could also be a lot of different problems. Maybe there was something on that one side that caused it other then the power wire.

Your ground HAS to be to metal. BARE METAL. Grind or sand down the paint and bolt it in. Run the wires under the side things in the car or under the carpet. Take your time on the install and dont rush stuff. Make sure when working on your cars electric stuff have the battery negative disconnected.
aight, thanks, well i have dun have any sandpaper can't i just use a knife to get da paint off den?

so like unda da seats to da back of da trunk for da power wire den? i'll have to find a spot in da trunk fo a ground den, i was thinkin like a corner or sumthin?

Pioneer? They are notorious for the engine whine so its very possible. There are some tricks you can do that people have done such as reground the headunit, grounding the preouts etc.
what if i have good RCA cables? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hope dat doesn't happen to me, i want my first install to be flawless.

Under the seats is fine, but that might look like a mess. If you don't care about looks, then it is fine. If you want it to look good, take your time and hide them under carpet and panels to get it to the trunk, so they are not seen, and so it looks good. It's all up to you on how you want it to look and or how good you hide the wires.
