help with wiring hu to amp

ok so i have an alpine iva-w200 and a rockford fosgate p400.4 amp

i have it hooked up the right way with the rca cables its just on my left door speakers they are producing bass. the right door speaker is producing sound the way it should and the left is trying to act like a sub with sound. any suggestions?

Check the HPF on the HU and the amp.

Make sure you're using the correct outputs on the head unit.

Yes, it's a switch on the amp. You want it to be turned off.

I'm not familiar with your head unit, but my Alpine has an HPF and I have it set to 80hz.

This is where im confused why do you wire from the HU i thought u just go HU RCA's to amp and then amp wires straight to speakers

ok. also i have i think what is called a noise filter on the rca cables. there is 2 brown wires coming out of it and they are both cut. do you know what these are?
