Hey guys. I need someone who is very good with Torres to help me. I have 2 sundown x 10's v1. I want to build a box for them. I drive a hatchback vehicle. As far as Torres, one sub needs 24^2 of port area. Would 2 subs then need 48^2 of port area? Also one sub has a displacement of .21^3 ft. Would 2 subs be .42? Lastly... For port length does that include the entire length Of the port if it wraps around? Meaning some boxes have just a straight slot some have more of a curve or L shape inside. Would I add all sides of the length for a total length???I know these are noob questions I'm 90% sure I'm right but I just wanna ask to be sure. If ANYONE can make a good Torres print with the specs needed for these 2 subs I would be so grateful. I need roughly 3.25 cu ft of box after displacement and port.

BTW I want to do subs on top and port in the front of box. I read that is the loudest in a hatchback. My hatchback space to work with is 20"H 30"D 38" W that's with zero room left. I want the box to be tall since the subs will be on top if that even really matters.

Yes, yes, and yes. If your port length is off by an inch or three you'll never hear the difference, so don't worry so much about splitting hairs there. As far as port orientation it largely depends on the specific vehicle but I've typically seen port to the rear doing best in hatch. Depending on the shape of the back subs and port to the rear can work well too.

Nothing for it but to work around the space you have and just test.

I have no clue how to design a ported subwoofer box
