help with sub choice...

k, i'm going to try to get as specific as possible so here is a little info.

1. I listen to mostly metal.

2. I plan on running about 2000-2500 rms.

3. Would like to have 2 10'' subs.

4. Will be ported to and have the upper end of recommended space.

5. Going in an H3 hummer.

I want it to get loud and be able to beat out most 15'' if possible.

What would be my best choice if there is not really a budget?

Look around the site a little and you'll have your answers. People here will just say the same things they say most every day. Level 4's. Bl's. 3500's. HDC3's. etc. In the end, its you that you have to satisfy. You might as well rely on your opinions of what actual owners say about the subs here (via the search feature) instead of relying on 4 or 5 word answers from people in this thread just regurgitating their favorite flavor of the month.

ya, that's one thing i've found about car audio... i always want something different. I had my 2 sealed 15'' installed by someone else when i got back from iraq but now i want the satisfaction of building my own box and doing it myself. I had FI Qs and I really loved them so I have become kind of partial to FI so I am leaning toward the BLs but at the same time wanna try something diff like DC.

Oh no problem man, I love the army but I am sad to see the way this country is headed.. i've been back from Iraq for 8 months now but will be changing my location to afghanistan in october lol.
