help with sub box in f150

I have an f150 super cab 2005 and i want to upgrade to either a 15 or 13. i am currently running 2 10s but they fit under the backseat. i need suggestions on where to put the new sub and the box

a 15 or a 13 wont fit under.. i was thinking maybe in the middle backseat on the floor or something. heres a pic of my inside

lol at sketch. But if were to do a 15, I would make an enclosure in the center console and have the port extend in the center of the back feet area. But you dont have any skills. So good luck buddy.

well i dont want to take out the center console... and i could have someone else make the box for me

build a ported box for a single 10 or 12 so it will fit in the middle w/o coming onto the seat(that will look bad IMO)

why dont you just get two bucket seats and loose the middle and make a custom box you could go with 2 12's or one 15

with that room you have you wont fit one 15 with the right amunt of airspace

go to f150online.com and go in that forum and to the speaker section they have custom built boxes all the time on there and will help you out with your truck i have a 2001 king ranch with bucket seats and i took out my rear console to fit 2 12's back there

i was thinking of lossing my front console and add either one or two more 12's but i want to stock nice looking console upfront

I saw a guy on here remove the rear passenger seat and throw in a 15 in a sealed box back there. Think it came out to like 3 - 4 cuFt

yea i know how much room is in there my dad has the same truck

and you wont get a standard 15 in there gonna have to go with something like a re or fi that doesnt need alot of airspace bc like say a l7 or something like that you will need around 5 cuft and there isnt enough room so i would look into re or fi

Hey man,

I have the same truck as you and man is it a pain in the *** to put subs in it. Well I have a picture of a sub box exactly like the one you are speaking of and I heres another picture the way I have my 15 in my truck.
