Help with Sub and Amp

I've been looking for a cheap amp and sub and came to the Sony Xplod ones. amp is 1000 W and Sub is 1200 W

Are they a good match? I don't know anything about car audio so would these would work great. What do you guys think about this set up?

Any comments are appreciated.

do not buy sony subs...just buy used if your really on a budget...whats your budget? if you dont want to buy online then go to your local pawn or audio shop and see what they have

the amp is fine, but buy it from amazon for cheaper price, its only $124 free shipping instead of $199 from crutchfield

here are three subs choose them, they are better than that kenwood sub in my opinion

Im liking the GTO1214D sub but is the GTO3501 amp enough for it to get the sub to its full potential.

it will give it 360 watts, its rated for 350, so it should do just fine.

u can step up the sub and amp, but its gonna be $352

i havent used prime amp, but i liked my punch amp and punch subs got loud

or u could go with this, its two subs, 1 amp, all matching, costs $316, i know this would be loud, i have these subs off 400 watts, this amp does 500

the jbl setup would probably have the better sound quality, imo, still get loud, but the last setup i linked with two 12s will be the loudest no doubt
