I have Alpine SPS-600C Type-S 6-3/4" component speaker system — fits in 6-1/2" or 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield Outlet in my two front doors with a Crescendo 1000c4 amp the front channels are hooked up to these speakers and the rear channels are hooked up to a sub in the trunk. These alpine sps 600c have a built in crossover in the wiring. My car has wires already for a tweeter and for the speaker. I have the tweeter hooked up to the original wiring and the speaker and they are both supposed to be amp'd up. The issue is that only the tweeters are playing like how they are supposed to loud and clear, while the speakers are either giving off very little sound or none at all

I've read somewhere that theres a way that original factory wiring can only put out power to the tweeter first or something like that and that I'd have to run a wire from the speaker to the tweeter?? I'm not sure tho

I always recommend running a fresh run of wiring from the amp/amps to all my new speakers, to avoid this type of issue.Wire/speaker wire is fairly cheap, and the existing wiring is nothing more than/CHEAP, and poor grade. No interferience or obstructions.. straight from amp to speakers!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
