what size enclosure should i build. kickers website says .88-2 c.f what would the sound difference be in the 2 sizes .i already tried a 3.25 c.f ported box tuned to 30hz and it just takes up to much room, and personaly i think it sounds like crap.it is going in a ford ranger and i have an amp that will do 1500rms @ 2 ohm or 750rms at 4 ohm.i have the dual 4ohm sub so i want to run at 2ohms and just keep the gain down. anyone ?

The .88-2 cu.ft. is any size between the two. I would shoot for 1-1.25 cubes seeing the power you have. Hook it up at 2 ohms and set the gain using the tutorial sticky'd in the amp section.
