help with replacement for a sundown e8

ok so i built a system for my friend and he is looking for a little bump but mostly clean sound. i got one of the e8s from woofercooker that was the quality control failure that he reconed. i set it up perfectly in my firends car and had it powered by an alpine mrp m350 giving it about 200 watts. well the leads went bad on the woofer the coil didnt burn but the leads did and i cant find a recone anywhere. so whats a decent budget 8 that will fit in 1.25 cubit feet ported at i believe 34 herts. i was looking at the re 8 and seems to b a decent replacement.

1.25 is pretty huge for a single 8" -- you would probably do pretty well with a DD 1508 in there with it's hard suspension and relatively low motor force.

i think its 1.25 i built it a long time ago and cant remember. but i know i wouldnt have built it oversized thats for sure. so it must not be 1.25
