help with rear speakers

ok so im going to put rear speakers in my 89 civic HB, the bottom of the speaker is going to poke out of a plastic piece, so basically there is no enclosure for the speaker at all, is it goin to just sound like hell? (i made a similar thread for the idea http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=420048 ) what should i do?

It will sound fine. Many cars have factory speakers in the rear exactly like that. However, I'm sure most people here will tell you to skip the rears and invest in a better frontstage and sub.
