LED's

I want to install some LEDs lights onto my radio dash. I already have the LEDs ready but im not sure were a good power source is to power them up so they will shut off with the radio. I am thinking about wiring to the radio power supply but im not sure if that will drain the power going to the radio and i dont wont to blow the fuse on my radio also.

What is a acc wire?

your accessory wire its what turns your radio on when you turn the key.. it only receives power with the keys turned on or to accessories

Soo that is the remote wire. AKA the blue wire..

So i can use that wire to give power to my LED's and i will just need to find a ground for it?

NO! the remote wire turns your amps on.. this will be a red wire i believe.. the leds probably need a ground to don't they? if so you need to ground em by tapping into the radio ground

you need to use a relay if you use the remote from the deck.

not quite true.. they don't pull much of any power and if he has no amps on it he will be fine.. idk what hes got going on though..

i thought the yellow wire was the ignition wire and why dont you just look up the wire diagram of your vehical find the accesory wire and put it in to it

Yes its the small individual led bulbs.

Yeah i am going to look up the wire diagram before i hook stuff up! But should i plug it into the ignition and ground it? Will it get power from the ignition wire?
