help with protect mode?

my buddy has his amp running a pair of subs. i have the same subs and used to run mine off the same amp. now that the amp is in his car it keeps going into protect mode. what are the possible causes of this? thanks

Many possiblities, more info needed.....name of amp, Name and impedance of subs, amp settings, and how the power, ground, and rem are connected.

i am pretty sure its wired right and this is the second amp to do this in his car. could it be the ground????

not sure the model of the amp i think its a pyle, 2 channel amp running pair of audiobahn svc 4 ohm subs, one to each channel,

Pyle and Audiobahn, hmmmmm there's your first problem, just kidding...... Check the ohmage from the subs, make sure you aren't getting a serious voltage drop under load, and just eliminate one problem from another until you pin point the issue....
