which port is better for a 40z port or both the are same 5.5"wx11"hx6"L or 8"wx11hx10"L? box dimesoin are 42"wx15"hx27.5"L 8 cubicfeet. help this is driving my krazy thanks

for 8 cubes you want at least like 100 sq. inches of port area, neither of those satisfy that. i suggest hitting up ram_designs or buck to help you out

go with the second one. the first wont be enough port area, and actually the second is pushing it for an 8 cube box.

as long as you dont want to get low. but make the port around 10'' wide and go from there.

It is more than likely going to sound like ***. That's like fart box tuning.

40Hz will be "super loud" but sure as hell won't sound as good as a tuning like 32Hz. If you wanna get louder for a daily, your only realistic options are increase the power, add more subs, do a wall.

Well, I'd have to look at the woofers, but most of the time mid to low 30's works well. It depends on how low you want to play. Me, I tune really low for daily. But it all depends on what your goals are.
