Help with new amp

I upgraded from a Autotek SS 750.1 to a 1600 watt Hifonics Brutus. Originally I was pushing one Premier 3000 watt peak/1000 watt rms and then i got 2. The Amp was brand new. Lights up and all of that too. The gain is set high enough to get something out of them.

My current set up is

Red top up front, 130 amp alt, Kinetik hc 800 in the back Kicker zx 650.4, Hifonics 1606D, 2 Premier 1000 watt rms subs, 3 farad Cap (yeah i know... but it was free) I also have 0 gauge Kicker power wire as well as 4 gauge kicker wire going to the amps. again all i did was upgrade to a different amp, and add a sub.

with what i have it should be hitting a lot harder than it is. I was getting a lot more out of the super sport and the one sub. What could be going wrong?

Is everything wired correctly? Did you change the enclosure size?

I did. The requirement for one of those subs is 1 cubic foot, i got a box built for 2 of them. The box was built to the specs on the box the sub came in. Literally the only things i did was disconnect the speaker wire and the wires to the old amp and plug in the new amp and wired everything back up. I am getting nothing from the Brutus. I was thinking that maybe it was the Amp, but I dont know. If the amp is bad it had to have come from the factory like that.

Maybe you wired the subs wrong inside the box.

Dont think so, but anything is worth a shot at this point. Before i put it into the new box it still wasnt hitting like i felt it should. Does anyone think that is too much of a draw on my electrical system? the interior speakers are all fine.

Need to break out a DMM and start checking things. Verify ohm load the subs are wired at, check for voltage drops at the amp, etc...

It turned out to be the amp. Something must be wrong with the bass knob input. I hooked my old supersport 750.1 back up and everything is fine. I will have to return that amp which sucks because it's like 25 miles back to the store i got it from.
