Hi all,
My first post here...
So I'm going to be driving a 94 Spirit for a winter beater, and I'm trying to put my old Sony Xplode stereo system into the car. The system is really simple, it doesn't even have subs or an amp. It's just the Sony deck, two 3.5 speakers and two 6x9 speakers. I had it in two other cars so far, but each of them had a 'stock' place to put the 6x9s. The Dodge Spirit has four 3.5s, 1 in each door. Unfortunately there are no speakers above the rear seats where 6x9s would normally be. I was thinking of mounting them in the door by measuring and then cutting the plastic under the door panel, but it looks like the speakers are bolted into a metal frame (which means no cutting for me). I was thinking of running wiring to the back above the rear seats, and cutting the fiberglass looking stuff for the 6x9s... Any thoughts?
