Help with loudest system for my car.

Hey all, I have a 1990 toyota 4runner sr5. ATM I have 2 Memphis Mclass 12"s in with 600 watts pushin to them. They hit pretty good right now but im puttin a bigger amp on them soon. But heres my problem what should i add to them? I was thinking maybe 2 alpine type r's or like eight 8"s im not quite sure what to get and im goin for SPL . my budget is around 500 but the cheaper the better lol. any ideas or suggestions would be appriciated. thx

Does that mean you want to replace the subs you have, or put more in addition to them? If its the last one, dont do it. Difference in subs, whether sizes or brands, they all have different sound. Cancellation can occur, and itll have lots less output.

sry..Yeah I wanted to add to it...but i just got these subs about maybe 4 months ago they just breaking in really. hmm so what could i add just a few more of mine I think i have room for 4 more....and would it be that loud..iv never got it metered b/c theres no place close i know of.

Did you ever think about doing fou 12s ported. Tuned really high. Like in the mid 40s

well i got a prefab box with them at the memphis dealer. pretty sure its like 2.5 cubes each slot ported..I a noob how do you tune?..and I was thinkin if possible i gota measure my trunk area but putting 6 of them in.

what kind of amp are you getting? if its enough power maybe you can add 2 more of the subs you already have and make a ported box for them

Best thing you could do would be to get rid of the prefab and get a custom box made for the subs you have now. That will make the biggest difference for the money.
