JL 8w7 and 10w6v2

Im not really sure what I should go for. Im trying to downgrade hte system but still keep the clean low bass and be able to get a little loud if I wanted. Right now I have the 13w7 on a 1000/1 and its just too much for me as a DD. Which do you guys think would be a better choice for what I described. I would probably feed it around 500 watts assuming the 8w7 would be able to handle that without having any problems.

8w7's are sweeeet. It will take 500 just fine, an sound great doing it. I think you would be very happy with that 'downgrade

I would go with a single 10w7 instead of the 8"

Id go with either two 12inch w3v3 or w3v2.

I'd look at the Rl-i, TC-1000, pair of assasin 8's, or if you must stick with JL the 10 w6v2.

i think if u wanna downgrade from what u have id go with the 10w6 v2 that way u can have hard clean bass and make it do what u want when u want!

i personally am not a huge fan of the w6's, but the only time i heard them was a crappy install with way too much power going to them. so i would stick with the w7 line, especially if you like the sound of your 13. but yeah, if it's too loud why can't you turn it down?

i would personally go with the 10w6v2......and who says the w3 is a crappy woofer given the corect install I've actaully heard some that sounded really good..including my 3 10's

2 10 w3v3's ftw, but just go with the 10 w6v2 it will be a lil less.
