Help with Id'ing this

I need details if anyone has them.

Ok I bought this at an auction tonight for a buck....figured WTH why not.

Ok so far all I know is its a Jensen 8" woofer and enclosure, I put the DMM on the coils and it is a DVC 4 Ohm

No sticker or marking on the back of the magnet, No model #'s to search....so I guess biggest question is power handling.

Why is it that everyone seems to think if its not the top of the line brand it should be blown up?!?!?

I think my wife would like this in her mini van........seems that the whole world doesn't need car shaking superior sound quality to please them!

So if anyone has a crediable reply I would be much appreciative.

It cost me a whole dollar. If it last a week seems like a good deal to me.
