For my next system, I want something loud. Ive had a 1" 2Kicker CompVR, 10" Diamond M5 and M6, 15" Dayton DVC, 15" Brahma, and 10" T4s in my car before. They havent all been permanent systems just in there. I have a 97 Expedition and Im looking at Lethal Injections and SX's. I more for SQL, but will have a competition box as well. It looks like the LIs are cheaper than the SXs. Would 2 15" LIs perform that much better than a 18" SX to justify the ~100+ price difference? I would give either option around 1000-1500 watts. And I have plenty of space for boxes since Ive taken the backseat out. If you could compare these options to some of my past setups.

well... i dont know the numbers but fo sho if the box was built correctly the 2 15" LI's will outperform the single 18" sx.

heck 2 12"s in the right enclosure is plenty IMO

Go with the LI's. My old pair of 12's could really kick some a$$ back when i had them. Give them each about 800w and be ready to be blown away. LI's all the way!!!!!!

By sheer displacement the two 15s should be louder. It seems that you have plenty of space to play with so I would go that route.

If you want really loud, I'd go with L7s

Mine are now in my dads 97 expy in a 9ft^3 tuned to 30Hz on A Viper 1200.1d at one ohm...

Oh my that thing is loud, and has pretty decent SQ

Just my .02 though, out of the two you listed I would go with th LI's, I havent gotten to play with one yet but Ive been wanting to
