can someone shed some light on which head unit will fit in this place

its a 2000 ford explorer xlt 5.0 v8 awd... there is no mach system (i dont think)

i know its a double din opening but i cant seem to find any double din head units to fit...

i took some pics to try to help if i need to take some more let me know also i cant tell if the black box inside the hea dunit slot to the left is an amp or not.. the speaker wires all seem to go to the back of it so i dont know what else it would be.. any way to tell if my head unit has an internal amp or not?

looks like a 1 1/2 din bro (yes they exist).... ford has some models that have weird sized HU's.

as far as the amiplifier, all HU's have internal amp's... just the vast majority of them arent that powerful

and i dont think the black box is an amplifier... most stock amps are metal cased, and you can see fins for the heat sink

if its 4 in tall, its most likely a double din... tho the measurement between 1 1/2 and double is only about 1/2 an inch.
okay then any sure fire way to tell for sure? anyway to tell which head unit i can get to fit? with little no no modifications?

i owuld like to spend between 300 and 800 somewhere..
