Help with H/U..

Hey, I need some help with deciding which screen to get for a new car. Im debating over the Alpine IVA-W505 or the Eclipse AVN 6620. If I get the Alpine I was going to also get the tuning kit and the sound processor for an extra 180. If I get the Eclipse I was going to get sound kind of sound processor(maybe the Epicenter Plus by AudioControl).

I have 2 Alpine Type X 12's in the trunk with a Hifonics 1606 on them.

I personally dont think they sound that good, so Im lookin for somethin to help them sound a lil better. I like alpine indashs, but the navigation feature on the eclispe would help me out alot because Im going to be doing alot of traveling.

Can someone help me out? Which screen, and why?}

I prefer Eclipse basically cause they have a incredible SQ and their just well built HU's

IMO alpine has gone downhill since their older HU's.

seeing as how those are the top of the line alpine subs right now and they are 1000 watts rms, id say about 3000 rockford/alpine/kicker watts to the pair anything less then name brand better make it 3500-4

No, the type x's will sound great off 2000-2500 rms. They don't need alot of power because they perform very well near their max ratings. I want your type x's by the way, you want to sell them to me, LOL!?

when i say less then brand name i just meen shity brands like POWER ACOUSTIK. when you pay $100 for 2000 watts, well lets just say it aint 2000 watts hehe.

Eclipse, you will never go back to anything IMO if you get Eclipse.

Their amazing to me.

And go to http://www.wooferetc.com and look at some amps.

For the cheaper route, I would stick to Hifonics.

If you want something a little more expensive. Kicker's ZX line is decent.

Also Sundown is a good amp manufacturer.

if you are on a budget you need a hifonics 2608 or audioque 2200. Both are good, but if you have a few more dollars then get the audioque.
